Scientific Games Gets Calif. Contract Extension

NEW YORK (AP) — Scientific Games Corp. said Friday that it received a contract extension from the California State Lottery. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The renewed pact keeps the casino equipment maker as the state's primary instant ticket supplier. Scientific Games will also supply services such as marketing, planning and research services for an additional four years.

The amended contract takes effect in July and runs through 2013.

On Wednesday the Massachusetts State Lottery said it chose Scientific Games as its primary instant tickets vendor. The Massachusetts contract is anticipated to bring in about $12 million in annual revenue for the company.
