Coca-Cola's(KO Quote) biggest bottler, Coca-Cola Enterprises(CCE Quote), reaffirmed its full-year forecast on Thursday.
The company said it expects 2009 earnings in the range of $1.24 to $1.29 a share, and sees second-quarter business in-line with expectations. There has been significant talk surrounding soft-drink bottlers, as rival PepsiCo(PEP Quote) progresses in its attempt to acquire Pepsi Bottling(PBG Quote) and PepsiAmericas(PAS Quote). The move has led investors to believe Coca-Cola may also try to buy its bottlers. Last month, Coca-Cola Enterprises reported a huge first-quarter gain to $61 million, or 13 cents a share, from $8 million, or 2 cents, last year.- Loading Comments...
