SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Carlisle Cos. Inc. said Thursday it will temporarily close heavy truck trailer production operations in North Dakota and Pennsylvania.

Production at Carlisle's Trail King Industries in those two states will be consolidated with its Mitcehll, S.D. operations during the shutdowns.

The company plans to close the West Fargo, N.D., plant in early June and resume operations in early August. The Brookville, Pa., facility will close from mid-June through early September.

All three locations will continue to provide normal parts and maintenance services during the consolidation of production operations.

Carlisle Chairman, President and CEO David Roberts said the move is a needed response to current market demand.

The company didn't say how employees would be affected.
