HCC Insurance Appoints New Chief Executive

HOUSTON (AP) — HCC Insurance Holdings Inc. appointed a new chief executive on Wednesday.
The insurance company's board named 62-year-old John Molbeck Jr. as CEO. He had been chief operating officer, and he will continue to hold the title of president of the company. Molbeck replaces Frank Bramanti, who will retain a seat on the board. Bramanti came out of retirement in November 2006 to lead the company, a company statement said.
