Sanmina-SCI Expects 3Q Adjusted Loss

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) Electronics manufacturing company Sanmina-SCI Corp. said Wednesday it expects to post a loss of 2 cents to 4 cents per share, excluding items, for its fiscal third quarter.
The company also forecast revenue between $1.18 billion and $1.25 billion for the quarter ending June 27. That's well below the average estimates of analysts polled by Thomson Reuters, who are projecting a profit of a penny per share on sales of $1.35 billion. Analysts typically exclude one-time items from their estimates. Shares fell 7 cents, or 12.7 percent, to 48 cents in after-hours trading.
