Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Thursday evening:

Loews (L Quote): "I like the mix of business, and I think you want to buy that one. It's come down too much already."

Sprint Nextel (S Quote): "I like Verizon (VZ Quote) and AT&T (T Quote), and I think Sprint is a speculative buy, not as an investment."

Palm (PALM Quote): "I do not have a good feel on Palm. I thought it was going to stop at $7-$8 a share, so I'm going to take a pass."

Wisconsin Energy (WEC Quote): "I like this stock, but I'm a dividend hound so I'm going to send you to Dominion Resources (D Quote) or Consolidated Edison (ED Quote)."

Hologic (HOLX Quote): "I got burned in this one. I didn't like that acquisition they did. They have to show me they have the goods."

Principal Financial Group (PFG Quote): "I don't have any conviction with this one. I'll recommend Travelers Companies (TRV Quote)."

Nokia (NOK Quote): "I'd rather you own Qualcomm (QCOM Quote). They're the guts of most cell phones and that's the way to play cell phones. "
