OshKosh B'Gosh Parent Cutting About 100 Jobs

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — The parent company of the clothing manufacturer OshKosh B'Gosh said Tuesday it will relocate or eliminate about 100 jobs at the Oshkosh headquarters by the end of the year.
The Atlanta-based children's clothing company Carter's Inc. said the moves are aimed at improving efficiency and profitability of the brand. Carter's CEO Michael Casey said in a two-paragraph announcement that the parent company appreciates the contributiuons of employees "who have helped build OshKosh B'Gosh into an iconic brand." Some jobs are expected to be relocated to Carter's operations in Shelton, Conn., or the Atlanta headquarters. Carter's acquired OshKosh B'Gosh in July 2005.- Loading Comments...
