Novell Appoints Board Members
WALTHAM, Mass. (AP) — Software developer Novell Inc. said Friday it appointed two new members to its board of directors.
Appointed were Gary G. Greenfield, chairman and chief executive of Avid Technology Inc., and Judith H. Hamilton, a director at R.R. Donnelley & Sons and the Wildlife Conservation Society. Hamilton is the retired CEO of Classroom Connect Inc. and FirstFloor Software. The appointments expand the board to 12 members. It had been 11 members, but one member, James Robinson III, retired, said company spokesman Ian Bruce. Novell shares fell 3.9 percent, or 15 cents, on Thursday to $3.74.
