ProLogis CEO Rakowich Earns $5.7 Million In 2008

Schwartz was also awarded stock and option awards valued by the company at about $4.6 million on the day they were granted, that was down from $7 million awarded the year before.

In 2008, ProLogis' funds from operations, or FFO, dropped to $180.9 million, or 68 cents per share, from $1.23 billion, or $4.61 per share. Excluding non-cash items, yearly FFO was $3.68 per share.

Analysts had expected 2008 FFO of $3.63 per share.

FFO, which adds such items as amortization and depreciation to net income, is considered a key measure of REIT strength.

Revenue for the year totaled $5.65 billion, down from $6.19 billion in 2007.
