IRobot Names Beck President Of Division
BEDFORD, Mass. (AP) Robot maker iRobot Corp. said Monday it named aerospace and defense industry executive Jeffrey A. Beck as president and general manager of its home robots division.
Beck replaces Jon Elordi, who has been serving in the position on an interim basis for about 10 months following the departure of Sandy Lawrence. Most recently, Beck, 46, served as senior vice president and general manager of the aerospace and defense division of Ametek Inc. He also held senior management positions at Danaher Corp. and Emerson Electric Corp. His new company's home robots include: iRobot Roomba vacuum cleaning robot, iRobot Scooba floor washing robot, and iRobot Dirt Dog shop sweeping robot, among others. Shares of the company fell 10 cents to $8 in morning trading Monday.- Loading Comments...
