Sempra Says '10 Profit Will Exceed '09 By 15 Pct

NEW YORK (AP) — Sempra Energy says its profit outlook for 2010 will exceed 2009 estimate levels and is also providing an earnings forecast for 2013.

The San Diego-based gas and electric utility says its 2010 earnings estimate will likely fall between $5 and $5.25 per share. This is a 15 percent boost over its 2009 outlook of $4.35 to $4.60 per share.

For 2013 the company expects 2013 earnings between $5.65 and $5.95 per share.
