NEW YORK (AP) — No degree? No problem.

That's the verdict from the board of Concur Technologies Inc. and Wall Street analysts on Chief Executive Steven Singh, who was erroneously listed as a graduate of the University of Michigan in public filings until January 2007.

Singh attended the school but did not earn a degree.

Concur, a Redmond, Wash.-based company that makes corporate expense-management software, expressed regret for the mistake in a statement Sunday after its board met the day before to review past company filings.

The company's statement said the board has "complete confidence in Mr. Singh, his abilities, and his proven leadership."

Several analysts said the error is a non-issue.

"We do not see the misrepresentation of education credentials ... as sign of broader nefarious behavior at the company," Deutsche Bank analyst Tom Ernst told clients in a note Sunday, reiterating a "Buy" rating on shares.

Jefferies & Co. analyst Ross MacMillan also kept his "Buy" rating on the company, and told investors Monday he expects no change in management.
