NYSE General Mills Inc., down $6.03 at $47.63 Profit dropped 33 percent on higher costs and a stronger dollar though sales of top brands like Cheerios increased. MetLife Inc., up $4.37 at $25.56 The insurer said its capital position is strong and that its investment portfolio is well positioned to weather a shaky market. Bank of America Corp., up $1.40 at $7.67 Chief executive Ken Lewis reportedly said the bank could repay the government's $45 billion investment as early as this year.
