NYSE Barclays PLC, up 89 cents at $5.31 The British bank said it has had a good start to 2009 and confirmed it has been in talks about selling its asset management unit. Illinois Tool Works Inc., down 91 cents at $26.94 The industrial products maker slashed its first-quarter earnings prediction on lower-than-expected global demand so far this year. Landry's Restaurants Inc., down 15 cents at $4.41 The restaurant, hotel and casino company said it swung to a profit in the fourth quarter, boosted by a gain from insurance proceeds.
