Small-Cap Winners and Losers: ICT

ICT Group (ICTG Quote) shares rose 66% to $5.98 Monday on news that the business services outsourcing company based in Newtown, Pa., would be acquired by Aegis, a unit of India's Essar Group, for $128 million.

Shares of Pluristem Therapeutics(symbol Quote) rose 32% to $1.39 on news that the Food and Drug Administration has cleared its application to initiate a phase I clinical trial for the treatment of critical limb ischemia, the end stage of peripheral artery disease.

Spartan Motors(SPAR Quote) shares rose 20% to $2.73. The Charlotte, Mich., maker of custom motor vehicle chassis announced that CFO Jim Knapp will attend Next Generation Equity Research's third annual industrials conference Tuesday at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Chicago. Spartan had hit a seven-year low last month after reducing its sales outlook for 2009.

Shares of Crosstex Energy(XTEX Quote) dropped 51% to an all-time low of $1.68 after the Dallas-based natural gas pipeline company said it was suspending its quarterly distributions and that it expects a wider loss than anticipated in 2009.
