Tiny Handheld Projectors Pack a Punch

Los Angeles -- Micro handheld projectors are a category of products we will see more and more of in the coming months. One of the latest entries into the arena is the 3M (MMM) MPro 110 model.

Weighing less than a pound and about the size of a cell phone (2.0 x 0.9 x 4.5") this handheld digital projector is perfect for the mobile executive who has to present visuals to a group. Gadget Grrl says you can even use this to show to large groups, because this tiny projector will project up to a 50" still or video.

Next, this set of stereo earphones works both on the Apple (AAPL) iPhone 3G and RIM(RIMM) Blackberry. It features an in-line microphone to answer calls and a multi-function button to send or end calls. The same button can also be used to pause music while you take a call.

The way it works is that you plug your MP3 player, laptop or digital camera into the MPro110 and it projects on to any wall surface, for best results the room or space should be pitch black.

What I liked about this projector, are the great colors and clarity, especially at about 30-35". And aside from the great resolution it connects to composite and VGA sources (including component if you have the right cable adapters).

Unlike some of the larger projectors this one doesn't get very hot. So you can literally stand and produce your presentation without burning your hands in the process. That way if you need to show a few photos, diagrams or videos you can grab any wall and start showing them.

Underneath the device there is a tripod screw so you can mount it to a tripod in order to produce a steady, sure image.
