DuPont (DD Quote - Cramer on DD - Stock Picks) is making a change in the executive office, saying Tuesday that Ellen Kullman will become president Oct. 1 and take over as CEO three months after that.
Charles Holliday Jr., the company's current chairman and CEO, will continue serving as chairman and as a member of the board until Kullman's expected succession as chairman. Since June 2006, Kullman has been an executive vice president and a member of the company's office of the chief executive, with responsibility for four of DuPont's five business segments along with its marketing and sales and environmental sustainability functions. She joined the company in 1988 from General Electric (GE Quote - Cramer on GE - Stock Picks).
