Crude Oil Edges Back Above $115

Crude oil futures opened the week with slight gains Monday, putting the near-term contract back above $115 a barrel.

Oil for October delivery rose 52 cents to $115.11 in New York, and gasoline was up 1 cent to $2.88 a gallon. Heating oil rose 2 cents.

Large energy stocks, including Exxon Mobil (XOM Quote - Cramer on XOM - Stock Picks), BP (BP Quote - Cramer on BP - Stock Picks), Chevron (CVX Quote - Cramer on CVX - Stock Picks) and ConocoPhillips (COP Quote - Cramer on COP - Stock Picks), were weaker.

The United States Oil (USO Quote - Cramer on USO - Stock Picks) exchange-traded fund, which tracks the price of crude futures, tacked on 0.5%.
