McAfee Soars on Strong Sales
McAfee said it has teamed up with Hewlett-Packard(HPQ Quote) to provide a 60-day trial of pre-installed McAfee software on some HP desktop computers and notebooks. The service is for small business customers, said McAfee.
McAfee's biggest rival Symantec(SYMC Quote) also reported strong earnings Wednesday allaying fears that a weak macro-economic environment could take a toll on IT spending by businesses. Shares of Symantec closed up $1.40, or 7.1%, to $21.09.- Loading Comments...
