Connecticut Sues Ratings Agencies

The ratings fees are the cheaper of the two options. However, as the credibility of the ratings agencies have come under fire, states are becoming bolder in criticizing the companies.

But even as the attorney general was slamming the credit agencies, the Connecticut State Treasury just last week happily announced that the Connecticut Short Term Investment Fund had received a triple-A rating from Standard & Poor's.
