07/16/08 - 12:39 PM EDT

The stocks were taken over between 14 times and 23 times 2008 estimates and at relatively large premiums to pre-takeover prices (on average over a 45% premium was commanded).

Raised Long Exposure

10:08 a.m. EDT

On a trading basis, I continue to be all-in long despite the early weakness.

Holding Long Rentals

10:39 a.m. EDT

Today's upside action feels different than the previous rallies, which quickly reversed.

I am not making a sale of any of my long rentals.
