Oracle's Fourth Quarter Will Be Tough to Top

Despite Oracle's conservative first-quarter guidance, Banc of America Securities analyst Kirk Materne raised his one-year price target Friday by a dollar to $28. Oracle is an investment banking client of the firm.

UBS analyst Heather Bellini lifted her price target to $29, from $27. Oracle is a non-investment banking client of the firm. A member of the analyst team has a long position in shares of Oracle.

And Friar lifted her price target to $26, from $24, but issued a caution for the sector. "We would be reluctant to read strength from Oracle's May results across to SAP and the broader software sector, given the weak macro economic backdrop," she wrote. Oracle is an investment banking client of the firm.
