The traders of CNBC's "Fast Money" are very opinionated with their thoughts on the stock market and individual stocks. However, just having an opinion on a trade isn't enough to make it work. The crew uses tools such as technical analysis, insider buying, unusual options activity and key economic data to help guide viewers into the profit zone.

The gang recently highlighted trading ideas that play off stocks that pay solid dividends, housing stocks and emerging-market stocks for a highly inflationary environment. Here are some highlights from over the past week as aggregated from the show:

Fast Money's Dividend Stock Plays: The traders see opportunity in stocks that pay a solid dividend yield. On last Thursday's "Fast Money" show, Jeff Macke told viewers: "Stay with dividend yields below 10%." Fast Money's Dividend Stock Plays include Frontline(FRO Quote) and FPL(FPL Quote).

Fast Money's Unusual Options Activity Picks: The traders noticed some unusual options activity in a variety of stocks. On Monday's "Fast Money" show, Pete Najarian told viewers: "The volume of call buying in L-3 Communications(LLL Quote) suggests to me that it could soon bounce higher." Fast Money's Unusual Options Activity Picks include Juniper Networks(JNPR Quote).

Fast Money's Housing Stock Picks: The traders think the housing market could be approaching a tradable bottom. On Tuesday's "Fast Money" show, Guy Adami told viewers: "New housing starts are around the 1 million mark. In the last 35 years when new housing starts hit that level, it typically signals the bottom of the cycles." Fast Money's Housing Stock Picks include KB Home(KBH Quote) and DR Horton(DHI Quote).

Fast Money's Emerging Market Inflation Trade: Inflation is skyrocketing in emerging markets such as China and India. On Monday's "Fast Money" show, Tim Seymour told viewers: "Central Banks around the world, especially in emerging markets, are going to have to raise rates. They have no choice. In the second half of the year, I expect to see interest rates rise, and that will crimp growth." Fast Money's Emerging Market Inflation Trade includes iShares MSCI Mexico(EWW Quote) and WisdomTree Dreyfus Chinese Yuan(CYB Quote).

Fast Money's No Transparency & Great Growth Stock Picks: The more transparent a company is doesn't always make it a good investment. On last Friday's "Fast Money" show, Zachary Karabell, president of River Twice Research, told viewers: "I think you can be totally transparent and be totally fraudulent. Just look at Enron. People who are going to cheat are going to cheat." Fast Money's No Transparency & Great Growth Stock Picks include Apple(AAPL Quote) and China Mobile Unlimited(CHL Quote).

Fast Money's Trader Radar: In a segment called "Trader Radar," the crew highlights stocks with unusual volume that are lighting up screens across Wall Street. On Tuesday's "Fast Money" show Dylan Ratigan told viewers: "On the trader radar tonight we're watching Eastman Kodak(EK Quote). Shares of this company were among the most active names on the NYSE today. Check out Fast Money's Trader Radar.
