Beat the Street: Leader Mixes It Up

The leader in TheStreet.com's Beat the Street contest likes to mix it up.

Ched111 has an all-long portfolio of Golar LNG(GLNG Quote), Terremark Worldwide(TMRK Quote), Sequenom(SQNM Quote), Apogee Enterprises(APOG Quote) and AsiaInfo(ASIA Quote) for a portfolio totaling $288,745.

Angus61 is second with $285,862, and Homegamer is in third with $283,043.

Week 9 of the game saw 5,158 players participate. In those players' portfolios were 21,294 long picks and 5,654 shorts.

The five most popular stocks among players were Apple(AAPL Quote), First Solar(FSLR Quote), Solar Fun Power(SOLF Quote), Toll Brothers(TOL Quote) and AMR(AMR Quote).
