The gang recently highlighted trading ideas that play off unusual options activity, the hurricane season and heavy construction stocks. Here are some highlights from over the past week as aggregated from the show.

Fast Money's Options Activity Stock Plays: The traders highlighted some unusual options activity in a number of stocks. On Wednesday's "Fast Money" show, Pete Najarian told viewers: "The July 25 calls were extremely active in Goodyear Tire(GT Quote)." Fast Money's Options Activity Stock Plays include KeyCorp(KEY Quote) and Lehman(LEH Quote).

Fast Money's Heavy Construction Stock Picks: Recently, the traders spoke with Dan Fitzpatrick of TheStreet.com about the technical trends for some heavy construction stocks. On Monday's "Fast Money" show, Fitzpatrick told viewers: "Trends in the chart for Granite Construction(GVA Quote) suggest the stock is a buy if it breaks out above $40." Fast Money's Heavy Construction Stock Picks include Fluor(FLR Quote).

Fast Money's Exchange Stock Picks: Exchange stocks have been pummeled this year, and the traders see opportunity. On Monday's "Fast Money" show, Jeff Macke told viewers: "I think that the NYSE Euronext(NYX Quote) is the most compelling name on this list." Fast Money's Exchange Stock Picks include CME(CME Quote) and Nymex(NMX Quote).

Fast Money's Hurricane Stock Picks: Hurricane season is quickly approaching, and forecasters are predicting eight storms this season that could produce 110 mile-per-hour winds. On Wednesday's "Fast Money" show, Guy Adami told viewers: "I would look at Allstate(ALL Quote)." Fast Money's Hurricane Stock Picks include Home Depot(HD Quote) and Gulf Island Fabrication(GIFI Quote) among others.

Fast Money's Restaurant Hedge Trade: Some restaurants are doing an incredible job at hedging against rising food prices. On last Thursday's "Fast Money" show, Jon Najarian told viewers: "Darden Restaurants(DRI Quote) is doing very well hedging soy, grains and corn. The hedging is responsible for the stock's move from $20 to $36." Fast Money's Restaurant Hedge Trade includes Buffalo Wild Wings(BWLD Quote) and Kellogg(K Quote).

Fast Money's Trader Radar: In a segment called "Trader Radar," the crew highlights stocks with unusual volume that are lighting up screens across Wall Street. On Tuesday's "Fast Money" show Dylan Ratigan told viewers, "On the trader radar tonight we're watching State Street(STT Quote). Fast Money's Coal & Hotel Derivatives Trades: The action in the options market is heating up for some coal and hotel stocks. On Wednesday's "Fast Money" show Stacey Gilbert, a market strategist for Susquehanna Financial Group told viewers, "Options investors are betting on a 20% upside move before July in Peabody(BTU Quote)." Fast Money's Coal & Hotel Derivatives Trades included HOT and ANR among others.
