05/15/08 - 07:02 PM EDT

Mike Taylor

Here's what CNBC's "Fast Money" traders had to say about some of the market's biggest movers on their "Pops and Drops" segment Thursday.

Pops

EMC EMC popped 9%. Guy Adami said the company might spin off VMWare and its data-loss prevention business is still doing well. He said he still likes the name.

Hewlett-Packard HPQ climbed 2%.

Nvidia NVDA added 8%. Jeff Macke said that PC sales have been better than expected.

Sotheby's BID jumped 8%. Adami said Sotheby's has had its move.

Peabody Energy BTU was up 8%. Pete Najarian said the company was upgraded today. It's just the beginning of the coal story, he said.

The Knot KNOT ticked up 7%. Macke told viewers to sell The Knot.

Posco PKX tacked on 7%. Adami said the stock is still down 29% since October. He said it might be a good play on reconstruction in China.

Drops

Ctrip.com CTRP dropped 9%. Tim Seymour said the company guided lower and the stock is getting beat up.

China Digital TV STV slipped 11%. Seymour said the stock is down 80% since its IPO.
