Samsung Headset Passes Test
05/09/08 - 11:54 AM EDT
LOS ANGELES -- It is not a high-end noise-canceling headset, but for the price you pay, you get a pretty decent sound. Gadget Grrl shares the pros and cons of this little gadget, and then gives a nod to the Micro Bluetooth Stereo Headset. Active mobile executives might want to consider the Samsung WEP430 Headset. The design is key here, with an orange and black color combo and a loop that goes around the ear, instead of plugging into it. The controls to operate the Bluetooth headset are on the outside, allowing you to do voice-dialing, answer and end calls and control volume -- which are easy to do once you get the feel for the device. It's lightweight, weighing in at 15.3 ounces, and relatively small at 3" long. The talk time is listed at five hours. We got just about that when tested.
