Beat the Street: JKAgain Stays On Top

TheStreet.com's Beat the Street contest remained unchanged at the top Thursday, as JKAgain continued in the lead for the third consecutive day.

Where JKAgain's all-long portfolio merely weathered Wednesday's selloff, it increased by $12,000 to $302,984 during Thursday's modest rally.

That portfolio consists of Buckeye Tech(BKI Quote), R.H. Donnelley(RHD Quote), Horsehead Holding(ZINC Quote), Gatehouse Media(GHS Quote) and Idearc(IAR Quote).

Trailing the leader are Kevifarr at $291,765, Olemike at $289,314, Rteon1 at $288,281 and Stevinium at $288,122. Rteon1 remains the only contestant in the top five with any shorts, riding the success of shorts in THQ(THQI Quote) and Synchronoss Technology(SNCR Quote) to fourth place.
