'Fast Money' Pops and Drops: Manitowoc Moves

05/08/08 - 06:45 PM EDT

Mike Taylor

Here's what CNBC's "Fast Money" traders had to say about some of the market's biggest movers on their "Pops and Drops" segment Thursday.

Pops

AbitibiBowater ABH popped 11%. Guy Adami called the pop a relief rally. He said the surge isn't worth much.

R.H. Donnelley RHD jumped 29%. Karen Finerman said the stock was very levered and put up some decent numbers.

Manitowoc MTW climbed 5%. Adami said there's big short interest and he likes the business. It's a buy, he said.

Drops

Toyota TM dropped 4%. Adami said higher material prices are hurting the company. He said he would avoid the name.

Home Depot HD lost 2%. Jeff Macke told viewers to buy the dips.

Kaiser Aluminum KALU fell 11%. Finerman said she thought the quarter was all right, and her fund bought more shares today.

Nike NKE slipped 3%. Pete Najarian said the decline was due to a little profit-taking by investors.

Warner Music Group WMG gave up 2%. Macke said the company is dead and its stock is going to zero. Let it go, he said.

Hansen Natural HANS plummeted 15%. Najarian said the company is selling more coffee than its Monster energy drink. There's a lot more profit in Monster, he said.
