General Electric(GE Quote - Cramer on GE - Stock Picks) missed badly on its earnings on Friday, and that took the air out of the major averages.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 257 points to 12,325, and the S&P 500 dropped 28 points to 1333 -- 2% apiece. The Nasdaq Composite fell 61 points, or 2.6%, to 2290.

All three averages were down substantially for the week: Over the past five sessions, the Dow has given up 2.3%, the S&P 2.7%, and the Nasdaq 3.4%.

So, can the market rebound next week or will we see more signs of a halting economy? Please vote in our poll below.
