Our Beat the Street Game Is Back!

04/02/08 - 06:59 AM EDT

David Morrow

Calling all amateur and professional stock-pickers!

TheStreet.com on April 4 launched the all-new Beat the Street game, which runs for 12 weeks and features a weekly prize of up to $5,000 to the person with the biggest portfolio gain each week.

And the news gets better. If you don't win the $5K prize one week, try again the next week. And there's no limit to how many times you can win, which means you could win a steady stream of big bucks -- up to $60,000!

There are some simple rules: You get $250,000 in fantasy money to invest, which you can evenly allocate to five stocks ($50,000 to each pick). You may swap out one stock per week and may alter your portfolio once during the week -- on Tuesday evening.

And you can check out how you are doing against your opponents at any time by checking out the game's leader board at Beat the Street.

Click here for more details, and start getting your first stock picks ready. The game is almost afoot!

Let's stay interactive.
