• I bought Goldman Sachs (GS) this afternoon at the lows of the day at slightly under $160. Thought it was a buy from $170 and every 5% move down. I backed up the truck this afternoon and looks like I had Jim Cramer behind the stock as well.

• I just spoke to my Scottrade guy about the Visa IPO; they can buy only after it becomes public. He mentioned something about "syndicate" trading, being the guys that can get in before its actually public. Since through my broker I can only get in on the first morning that it actually is trading, would it be best to stay away?
