The earnings calendar will keep investors busy Thursday, and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will be back on Capitol Hill to talk about the economy.

Also, AIG (AIG Quote - Cramer on AIG - Stock Picks), Dell (DELL Quote - Cramer on DELL - Stock Picks), Gap (GPS Quote - Cramer on GPS - Stock Picks) and Viacom (VIA Quote - Cramer on VIA - Stock Picks) are set to bring out their results. Meanwhile, DirecTV (DTV Quote - Cramer on DTV - Stock Picks) will hold an investor day, while Eaton (ETN Quote - Cramer on ETN - Stock Picks), CACI (CAI Quote - Cramer on CAI - Stock Picks) and EOG Resources (EOG Quote - Cramer on EOG - Stock Picks) will host analyst gatherings. The economic calendar features the second pass at fourth-quarter gross domestic product and weekly initial jobless claims. Elsewhere, Bernanke will be delivering his monetary policy report to the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, where he will face another round of questions from elected officials. Bernanke appeared before the House Wednesday. His upcoming presentation will begin at 10 a.m. EST.
