Investors will have their hands full Tuesday, with a string of earnings reports and key economic data on the schedule.

The economic calendar will feature the government's producer price index, along with the consumer confidence index from the Conference Board. Also, Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Donald Kohn will be in North Carolina delivering a speech on the U.S. economy and monetary policy.
