'Fast Money' Recap 'Pops and Drops': Nucor Numero Uno

Here's what CNBC's "Fast Money" traders had to say about some of the market's biggest movers on their "Pops and Drops" segment Friday.

Pops

Nucor (NUE Quote) rose 3%. Adami called Nucor the best-run steel company out there.

Chalco (ACH Quote) jumped 8%. Seymour said aluminum output was down in China. He thinks the stock will go down.

Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (SID Quote) popped 6%. Seymour said the "monster" Brazilian steel and iron ore company was a great story.

CHC Helicopter (FLI Quote) took off by 35%. Adami said Bristow Group (BRS Quote) bought the company. He recommended buying Bristow on the dip.

Drops

Solar names including Suntech (STP Quote) and Trina Solar (TSL Quote) lost at least 15% this week. Finerman said that hopefully solar stocks work, but investors can't just buy them at any price.

Best Buy (BBY Quote) slipped 2%. Macke said things weren't that bad for the company.

Garmin(GRMN Quote) lost 7%. Finerman emphasized that a great product doesn't justify purchasing a stock at any price.

Intuit(INTU Quote) was down 13%. Macke said, "Apparently no one has to file taxes anymore."

General Motors (GM Quote) descended 9%. Seymour argued that the GM story is happening abroad.

3Com (COMS Quote) plummeted 29%. Adami recommended that viewers avoid a $3 stock that's fallen down to $2.

Yahoo! (YHOO Quote) gave up 3%. Finerman predicted a merger this week.

Lifetime (LTM Quote) was off 16%. Macke said, "Weep for the children and sell this stock."
