Willis Group (WSH Quote - Cramer on WSH - Stock Picks) wants to talk to Marsh & McLennan (MMC Quote - Cramer on MMC - Stock Picks) about acquiring its larger competitor in the insurance brokerage space, according to a televised report.
CNBC reported on the development Thursday. Willis has a market capitalization of $5.3 billion, making it less than half the size of Marsh, which is valued at more than $13 billion. Following the report, shares of Marsh rose to a session high of $27.89, up $1.44 on the day.
