"Fast Money," a major hit for CNBC, celebrated its one-year anniversary on Tuesday. The "Fast Money" traders continue to find viewers big opportunities to make money in spaces that many investors ignore.

The crew recently highlighted some trend-bucking trading ideas for three key sectors and stock plays off Taiwan's upcoming elections. Here are some highlights from over the past week as aggregated from the TV show.

Dennis Gartman's Two Favorite Natural Gas Plays: Strategic investor Dennis Gartman, author of The Gartman Letter, sees opportunity in natural gas. On Tuesday's "Fast Money" show, Gartman told viewers, "I think natural gas is cheap relative to crude oil, right now." Fast Money's Best and Worst Stock Calls: As part of the show's one-year anniversary celebration, the traders went over their best and worst stock calls. On Tuesday's "Fast Money" show Pete Najarian told viewers, "I should have waited for insiders to start buying Target(TGT Quote - Cramer on TGT - Stock Picks) before I jumped in."
