The irony kills me. President Bush and the Republican Congress (2000-06) spent like a drunken sailor and suddenly he points a finger at the Democratic Congress on overspending? Hugh Hewitt reviews Sen. John McCain's (R., Ariz.) record in the Senate. He, and the people at the Club for Growth, lambast McCain for his wayward views over the years. The press might forget this stuff, but conservative voters won't. Issues John Hinderaker at powerline.com rants about a Harper's reporter who has defended jailed AP reporter, Bilal Hussein, in a recent article. Hussein has been in prison for years without trial. Hinderaker, of course, could care less about the fact that our justice system is based on the idea of innocent until proven guilty.
