Market Features
The Federal Reserve meeting has passed, so the question for Wednesday will be whether the market can rebound from its drubbing or continue selling off. A number of economic reports are due, including import and export prices, international trade, mortgage applications and the Treasury budget. Also expected are the weekly oil and gasoline inventory data. Once again, several companies will have analyst and investor days, led by Yum! Brands (YUM - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr), Sunoco (SUN - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr), Danaher (DHR - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr) and Lennox International (LII - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr). The earnings calendar is almost empty. Among the few reporting are ADC Telecom (ADCT - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr) and CKE Restaurants (CKR - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr). On TheStreet.com, Ted Reed will profile Lee Moak, the head of the pilots union at Delta (DAL - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr). If anyone wants to buy this carrier or force it to merge, they'll have to get through this tough-talking ex-Marine first. Also, Melissa Davis will explain why Force Protection (FRPT - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr) is in need of rescue, and Vishesh Kumar will examine whether Google (GOOG - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr) is about to leave Microsoft (MSFT - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr) and Yahoo! (YHOO - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr) in the dust.
