Cramer's 'Mad Money' Recap: Bulletproof Your Portfolio

 

Don't be tempted to buy these stocks even though they look low, Cramer warned. If people own them, wait for the inevitable short squeeze and then unload them, he said.

In his "Mad Mail" segment, Cramer told viewers he got only about two hours of sleep last night because of Nastech Pharmaceutical (NSTK). He said he feels bad and angry about the stock's recent performance. The stock, which closed at $7.09 Thursday, has lost nearly 50 percent of its value in three days.

Cramer was bullish on Hologic (HOLX), First Solar (FSLR), Las Vegas Sands (LVS), SiRF Technology (SIRF), FirstEnergy (FE), NRG Energy (NRG), VF Corp (VFC), McDonald's (MCD), Yum! Brands (YUM), Darden Restaurants (DRI) and CVS Caremark (CVS).

Cramer was bearish on Applied Materials (AMAT), Time Warner (TWX), NorthStar Realty Finance (NRF), Xilinx (XLNX), Middleby (MIDD), Carters (CRI), Buffalo Wild Wings (BWLD) and Walgreen (WAG).
