Cramer's 'Mad Money' Recap: Bulletproof Your Portfolio

Don't be tempted to buy these stocks even though they look low, Cramer warned. If people own them, wait for the inevitable short squeeze and then unload them, he said.

Mad Mail

In his "Mad Mail" segment, Cramer told viewers he got only about two hours of sleep last night because of Nastech Pharmaceutical (NSTK Quote). He said he feels bad and angry about the stock's recent performance. The stock, which closed at $7.09 Thursday, has lost nearly 50 percent of its value in three days.

Cramer was bullish on Hologic (HOLX Quote), First Solar (FSLR Quote), Las Vegas Sands (LVS Quote), SiRF Technology (SIRF Quote), FirstEnergy (FE Quote), NRG Energy (NRG Quote), VF Corp (VFC Quote), McDonald's (MCD Quote), Yum! Brands (YUM Quote), Darden Restaurants (DRI Quote) and CVS Caremark (CVS Quote).

Cramer was bearish on Applied Materials (AMAT Quote), Time Warner (TWX Quote), NorthStar Realty Finance (NRF Quote), Xilinx (XLNX Quote), Middleby (MIDD Quote), Carters (CRI Quote), Buffalo Wild Wings (BWLD Quote) and Walgreen (WAG Quote).
