You Said It: A TSC Weekly Poll: When Will the Dow Hit a New High?

After a solid 2.4% rise last week that took it above 11,000 for the first time since April 26, the Dow Jones Industrial Average djia looks like it might be setting up to make another run at its January record close of 11,722.98. But the Dow's looks have been deceiving before. The venerable blue-chip index has poked above 11,000 a couple of times since recovering from its March swoon, but it's always stumbled in fairly short order.

Do you think the Dow has what it takes to break out, or will it break down yet again? Let us know, and take our weekly stock-market sentiment poll, too.

(Note: Starting this week, look for You Said It on Wednesdays instead of Sundays.)

Here's how you voted.
