Talking more about the "credit crunch" in the "post-nuclear Bernanke world," Jim Cramer said on his "Mad Money" TV show Wednesday that Countrywide Financial (CFC Quote) is one of many companies "down for the count."

He told investors again to focus instead on the food and beverage stocks, which he believes will "work for the next six months." High-growth stocks are another way to play the current market.

Urging investors to "Bernanke-proof" their portfolios, Cramer recommended Garmin (GRMN Quote).

Garmin is "higher-growth" than Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG Quote), posting 42% earnings growth year over year in its second quarter. Cramer was especially impressed with those earnings as they were "better than expected."

Talking with Garmin CFO Kevin Rauckman, Cramer said that Garmin "could grow in this environment." Rauckman agreed, adding that the company was surprised at its own growth. Fixing its problem of limited manufacturing capacity, Garmin recently opened up a factory in Taiwan, its third factory.

The CFO assured Cramer that Garmin will have "enough product" for the upcoming holiday season.

Cramer called Garmin a "buy at $85 or $87." On a slight pullback, the stock closed today at $91.20.

"Every little thing may not be alright," said Cramer. Dressed as a Rastafarian, he referenced several Bob Marley songs, saying that investors are going to need to feel the good vibrations.
