Google GOOG agreed to acquire Postini, an on-demand communications security and compliance company, for $625 million. Postini serves more than 35,000 businesses and 10 million users worldwide, Google said Monday. Postini's services include message security, archiving, encryption and policy enforcement. Google expects to close the deal by the end of the third quarter.
