Majesco Entertainment (COOL Quote) was jumping 13% after Nollenberger Capital initiated coverage of the stock with a buy rating. Shares of the video game publisher were up 19 cents to $1.65.

Transmeta (TMTA Quote) surged 31% to 92 cents after Advanced Micro Devices (AMD Quote) said it would invest $7.5 million in the intellectual-property chip company.

AMD will receive preferred stock in Transmeta under the terms of the deal. Shares of AMD were up 1.4% at $14.39.

Mannatech (MTEX Quote) slumped 22% to $12.48 on word the attorney general of Texas is suing the dietary supplement maker, alleging deceptive trade practices regarding its products.

"We are aware of the situation and will be taking appropriate action to address any issues or concerns from the Texas Attorney General's office," Mannatech said in a statement. "We take matters of this nature very seriously and intend to cooperate to reach a resolution."

Shares of PolyOne (POL Quote) were gaining 11% to $8.15 following news that the company has sold its 24% stake in Oxy Vinyls LP to a unit of Occidental Petroleum (OXY Quote).

PolyOne will receive cash proceeds of $261 million, and it will immediately use the funds to reduce its debt. Occidental was up 0.4% at $59.71.
