Allegheny Energy (AYE Quote) upgraded at Jefferies to Buy rating from Hold. Price target lifts to $61 from $56, and FY 2008 EPS estimates jump to $2.70 from $2.45.

Dolby (DLB Quote) was upgraded to Overweight at JP Morgan. Recent pullback creates an attractive buying opportunity, as the company can generate 14% sales CAGR over the next 4 years.

Energy East (EAS Quote) upgraded at Goldman Sachs to Neutral from Sell following announcement that company will be acquired by Iberdrola S.A. Transaction will allow Iberdrola to monetize tax credits it generates from wind generation in U.S.

Edison International (EIX Quote) upgraded at Jefferies to Buy rating from Hold. Price target lifts to $62 from $56, and FY 2008 EPS estimates jump to $3.95 from $3.45.

Google(GOOG Quote) rated new Outperform at Bernstein. $635 price target. Company should deliver 27% CAGR for sales through 2011, as paid search still has plenty of growth potential.

Tenneco (TEN Quote) rated new Outperform at Credit Suisse. Cites company should benefit from tightening emissions standards. Sets $38 target price.

Winn-Dixie (WINN Quote) upgraded from Market Perform to Outperform at Friedman, Billings Ramsey. $35 price target. Gross margins should continue to improve, aided by WMT's decelerating growth plans.

Research in Motion (RIMM Quote) target price raised at Credit Suisse to $179 from $145. Believes company will continue to benefit from rapid smartphone growth but margins could be pressured by increasing presence in the consumer space. Maintained Neutral rating.
