AIM Investments

At AIM, Brendan Gau and Jan H. Friedli started managing the (AGOVX Quote)Intermediate Government (AGOVX) and (SHTIX Quote)Limited Maturity Treasury (SHTIX). Gau currently manages nine funds at the firm. He joined AIM in 1996 as a fixed-income securities analyst and has also worked as a fixed-income and foreign currency trader during his tenure there. Friedli joined AIM in 1999 after being a global fixed-income portfolio manager at Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management.

DWS-Scudder

Brent Reeder took over as sole manager of the DWS (SXPAX Quote)S&P 500 Index (SXPAX).

Eaton Vance

Eaton Vance selected Robert Lloyd George, head of Lloyd George Management, to manage its (ETEMX Quote)Emerging Markets (ETEMX). George's eponymous firm focuses on accomplishing long-term growth in Asian and other emerging markets.

Janus

Andrew Acker assumed sole leadership of Janus (JAGLX Quote)Global Life Science (JAGLX). Since joining Janus as a securities analyst in 1999, Acker has managed accounts and undertaken research analysis.
