Rising on Unusual Volume: Vail Resorts (MTN - Get Report) added 2.3% on heavy trading. Average volume increased 258% on Friday, after reports indicated third-quarter earnings jumped 15%. The Colorado-based ski resort operator closed at $60.17, adding $1.35 for the day. Stocks With Unusual Option Activity: Take-Two Interactive (TTWO - Get Report) was experiencing unusual option activity Friday. Shares gained 8 cents, or 0.4%, to $18.65. Latest Activist Situations: Sun Capital's SCSF Equities disclosed an 8% stake in apparel maker Kellwood (KWD).
