Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Monday evening:

Penwest Pharmaceuticals (PPCO Quote): "I had no idea that stock had fallen all the way to 12. They have got some great technology. ... That one is just right. ... Remember, it is just a speculation, though. I don't think they've got much in the way of earnings."

Gildan Activewear (GIL Quote): "This is a real winner. ... I'm stickin' by it. ... It's had a big run. Maybe buy a little and then you wait for a little pullback."

AirTran Holdings (AAI Quote): "No can do. I'm only using one airline here right now ... and that is GOL (GOL Quote). ... It's up 4 since we mentioned it ... stock's going to 40. ... That's what I like."

Chesapeake Energy (CHK Quote): "Natural gas is back. People don't understand that. Natural gas is the place to be again. ... We're going into hurricane season. ... CHK goes higher. ... I don't want you to abandon ship even though it's had a big run."

Fannie Mae (FNM Quote): "Now here's a stock I have not talked about enough." Cramer bought the stock for Action Alerts PLUS, his charitable trust, and "I should've shared it with my viewers. ... Fannie Mae is not expensive until it gets to $80 a share, and it's at 64."
