Cramer's 'Mad Money Lightning Round': The Rise or Fall of NovaStar

Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Friday evening:

Harley-Davidson (HOG Quote - Cramer on HOG - Stock Picks): "Incredibly controversial stock because it's a beautiful, fabulous name-brand company where the last quarter was not that good. I cannot in good conscience tell you to buy Harley-Davidson. It is too risky. ... I am going to give it a Don'tBuy."

NovaStar Financial (NFI Quote - Cramer on NFI - Stock Picks): "I never do this on the show, but this stock is a call option. ... It could either double or go to zero. ... I am unbelievably blessing this stock. 6 down, 6 up, you make the call."

Marriott International (MAR Quote - Cramer on MAR - Stock Picks): "People did not like the quarter with Marriott. ... I think that's a mistake. I think this is the level you want to pull the trigger at. Marriott is way too cheap. ... Let's get some Marriott right down here."

"Qwest Communications (Q Quote - Cramer on Q - Stock Picks) is resting after a tremendous run." Cramer said Qwest, now at about $10, could go to $12. "50 cents down, 2 bucks up, that is my kind of risk/reward. BuyBuyBuy."

DryShips (DRYS Quote - Cramer on DRYS - Stock Picks): "We're not into DryShips. We recommend GMR (General Maritime (GMR Quote - Cramer on GMR - Stock Picks)). That's our favorite. ... 6% yield ... [CEO] Peter Georgiopoulos, who is our favorite guy in the industry. ... I want you in General Maritime."

Nastech Pharmaceutical (NSTK Quote - Cramer on NSTK - Stock Picks): "Has more things going for it," including, Cramer thought, a potential relationship with Pfizer(PFE Quote - Cramer on PFE - Stock Picks). "It tells me that this stock could be at 15 in a month or two." Since it's speculative Friday, Cramer said, "I want you in Nastech. ... BuyBuyBuy. That's 12 buys on Nastech."

Mosaic (MOS Quote - Cramer on MOS - Stock Picks): "We recommend Mosaic much lower. The stock had a major ramp today. ... At these prices, I'm not going to get behind Mosaic." But Cramer said to "stick with ag" and recommended Monsanto (MON Quote - Cramer on MON - Stock Picks) and Deere (DE Quote - Cramer on DE - Stock Picks) instead.
