Luna Innovations (LUNA Quote) shares were jumping Monday after it said the Food and Drug Administration approved its blood circuit monitor.
The Roanoke, Va., company said it received clearance for the emboli detection and classification quantifier, a cardiopulmonary bubble detector meant for use during bypass surgery and other invasive medical procedures. The company will market and sell the blood circuit monitor for clinical use in the U.S. and said it is available immediately. Shares soared $2.14, or 66%, to $5 after the news.- Loading Comments...
